Hallmark’s Text Bands: Bump Fists >> Trade Messages + *GIVEAWAY* (2 winners)

Yesterday, I talked about the great new Back-to-School products from Hallmark, but I saved their best new product for it’s own post (and giveaway)!!  This back-to-school season, Hallmark is making it fun and easy for your kids to “text” without a cell phone or expensive mobile contract – with their new Text Bands!

Text Bands allow kids to send text messages from wristband to wristband, expressing themselves and spreading encouragement in a fun, new way. How? Kids enter up to 10 characters into the screen on the band and bump fists or shake hands to pass the message. The bands light up and the messages transfer from band to band.

This might be the coolest way for siblings, best friends, and classmates to pass notes!! While at BlogHer, I got a chance to preview the new Text Bands and they’re very fun! Easy to work and quite stylish. They might be a little bulky for your smallest children, but those wee ones probably can’t read anyway. This would also be a fun way for Moms and Dads to pass reminders (about chores, homework, dinner, etc) to their kids! No more nagging – just bump & you’re done!

I especially loved the style bands! They had a variety of styles, colors, and characters for both boys and girls. Personally, my favorite was the Minnie Mouse print!
