About Me (Alecia)

Welcome to Savings & Stewardship!  My name is Alecia and I’ll be your hostess here .  I’m one of the luckiest women in the world! I’m married to an amazing man, Chris, and together we have 2 beautiful girls who light up my life!  I’m blessed beyond dreams to be able to stay home with my girls and serve them in the ways that the Lord has called me to.

In an effort to maintain my own sense of creativity, feed my passion for writing, and continue to cultivate relationships with other adults, I started this blog.  I’ve always had a knack for being frugal and we believe strongly in the pursuit of treating our resources (financial and otherwise) as if they are not ours to squander, but ours to oversee as true blessings from the Lord.

With a degree in English and a minor in Christian Missions from Covenant College, the Lord has prepared (and is continuing to develop) me to further His kingdom.  I believe strongly that I am able to share His love for His people, and my passion for Him, with others through this blog – while also helping you (and myself) provide for our families through proper stewardship of our resources.  I hope that, together, we can spur one another on & share in the joys and challenges along the way!
