One of my favorite parts of running this blog is hearing how my meager efforts are a blessing to some of you! It reminds me of why I started this blog - to share the saving methods of our family in a hope that others might be able to use these same tactics to provide for their families. I've been spurred on throughout the years by the realization that sometimes the Lord can use my humble blog to meet the needs of His people.
I received the most touching email from our Got Milk? Free Milk for a Year grand prize winner, Rebecca, yesterday. With her permission, I wanted to repost it here for all of you. I hope it will encourage you and remind you (as it did me) that the Lord uses all sorts of methods to care for His children!
I am so excited about this. You have no idea. I just left my job last week to finish-up my college degree (I am hoping to graduate at the end of the summer), and my husband hasn't been able to work since he was in a car accident a few months ago.
I have been seriously stressing out about how we are going to afford things (daycare for my daughter, health insurance, etc.) until I get a new job. I've been reading over the tips/deals in your blog to get ideas about saving money and being more frugal where I can. This announcement literally came just in the nick of time. Thank you so much!

Although I provide deals when I can and love to offer giveaways for you; I find myself uplifted by your comments, touched by your emails, and constantly engaged by your conversations in ways that encourage and inspire me! I know there are a lot of blogs out there - millions, it seems, that offer the same services I do - but I'm blown away by how many of you choose to come back here time and time again! I strive to provide quality content and an uplifting community to serve all of you - and in return, you have done the same for me! Thank you for allowing me to call you "friends"!
