We're currently reading this book - it challenges you to think beyond contemporary parenting fads and try to teach your child's heart instead of just modify their behaviors!  I love the concepts put forth even if I don't agree with every method Tripp introduces.

Cool fact - Tedd Tripp's church is about 45 mins from us.  We've visited many times and love the community there!  If it were closer, we would probably make it our "home" church, but the distance is just too great with 2 young kids right now.
