What it Means to be a Community ...
I often refer to this blog as a "community" - I feel like we all share a common interest, we interact a lot, and I'd like to think that if one member of the community needed help, the rest of us would extend a hand.
With that being said, I want to open this community up a little bit more. I would like to create a system that makes it easier for us to help one another out! Those in the Christian community, often refer to ourselves as a "Body of Christ" - in this same sense, I want Savings and Stewardship to be an extension of Christ's hands and feet - going where He would go, doing what He would do.
With this purpose in mind, if you have a need and think that the larger community here could help you out, please let me know. On the flip side, if you have a commodity and think that you could help the larger community out, please let me know!! Just shoot me an email at savingsandstewardship at gmail.com and I'll help facilitate the working pieces.
Right now: There is a member of our community who could really use those Free Benefiber Sticks from Walmart. If you will not use this product, but would be willing to pick them up (for free) and mail them to her, please let me know and I'll email you her shipping address.
From time to time, I plan to send out the call for help, so keep on eye out on the blog (here), Facebook, and Twitter. If you can be of assistance, or need assistance, do not hesitate to act!

That is a nice thing to do for those in need! Giving from your stockpile is very important.
Please let me know if there's any way I can help our community. I'm especially available to talk to anyone struggling with diabetes... it can be tough, especially in the beginning! I've got 25 years experience though ( only through the grace of GOD ), and i'm happy to share tips, tricks, war stories and reassurance with anyone, at any time.
