You guys have heard me talk about my amazing friend, Jade Lundgren, and her fabulous music for a LONG time now!  I am SO excited to finally be able to share with you that she is releasing a CD!!!  Come on, jump up and down with me :).  Because I believe that you will love her tunes as much as I do, I thought I would share a little about her and her music with you ... plus toss in a little giveaway!!

Jade was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up involved in Theater Arts. It wasn't until recently, though, as a worship leader at her church in Pittsburgh, that she discovered her passion for songwriting. "Having two young children only helped, somehow, in my ability to hear songs in my head and express my love for my kids, my husband, and God. Songwriting for me is mostly about listening-- to God, things I am learning, my children, and everyone that I am around."

Jade is an incredibly devoted wife and doting mother. Her music reflects these passions in her life, and lends the rest of us such encouragement! My favorite of her songs (though it is difficult to pick just one) is "Ball and Chain". It is the perfect embodiment of what a Christian marriage should be - and while the message is quite counter-cultural, it is sure to be a pop culture phenomenon!
