Sometimes in life, there are specific days that come along that help make all the others worth living. If you’re a fan of the child born out of the marriage of Hershey’s Chocolate, Honey Maid Graham Crackers, and Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, then today is one of those for you (and me)! Today is National S’mores Day!! Did you even know such an awesome holiday existed?! Be sure to mark it on your calendar so you never miss an excuse to make an ooey, gooey, chocolatey s’mores again!
One of my most-favorite things in the whole world is a perfectly crafted s’more! In cooking, they say that if you want a good dish, you should start with good ingredients! For me, this is definitely true when making s’mores! We like to start with crisp Honey Maid Graham Crackers, a fresh Jet-Puffed Marshmallow that has been toasted to perfection, and a generous layer of the world’s favorite Hershey’s Milk Chocolate!! Mmmm, I can taste it now!
On cool evenings, Chris & I like to build a small fire in our firepit and roast marshmallows after the kids go to bed. It has become our own little haven after a long day. There isn’t anything better in the world than relaxing near the fire with a belly full of s’mores and a good book (in our case, on our Kindles). Sharing these small moments of delight helps us connect and unwind and just maintain our sanity some days!
So, today I encourage you (with or without your children) to celebrate National S’mores Day with a little bit of happiness in your own way! Enjoy a s’mores snack and relax with your loved ones – remembering that taking time to enjoy one another can make those long days easier to endure!
You can also celebrate by visiting Camp BondFire on Facebook! They’ve got tips, inspiration, and even a $1 off (2) 6pk Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Coupon! Be sure to also use the easy form below to enter to win a Hershey’s S’mores Gift Pack filled with everything you need to make the perfect s’mores – Hershey’s Chocolate Bars, Honey Maid Graham Crackers, Jet-Puffed Marshmallows, and (2) Roasting Sticks!

I love S’mores. My favorite memory of them isn’t when I first tried one, but when I first introduced them to my kids. How their eyes got big as saucers… and all of that. It was funny, but we sat around eating them.
i remember trying smores for the first time when I want camping. We were on the beach having a dream.
I am pretty certain my first taste of a s’mores came before I was old enough to walk or even speak in coherent sentences let alone remember it. But, I have very fond memories of sitting around the campfire at ‘camp’, an orange A-frame house in the middle of the woods, roasting marshmallows and cooking ‘pies’. Those memories are dear ones filled will the child-like happiness that you can only get while spending time with family.
I just learned how to make smores in the microwave.
We used to eat them when I was little & the whole family went camping. So fun

Smores–I always loved making those when we went camping. I remember eating one for breakfast, and I remember burning my finger on a marshmallow that was too hot.
I never had a s’more until about 3 years ago. We went camping with my som and granddaughter and she had said she had never tried them either. So.. we got to
