Free & Easy Kid's Autumn Activity: Leaves Artwork

Looking for something free and really easy to do with your kids this weekend?  Grab a few leaves from outside, some sheets of white paper, and crayons and make traced leaf pictures.  Chris did this craft with the girls the other day and they had a blast!  The best part is that I got seasonal decorations to hang and there was NO mess to cleanup afterwards!!

To make this craft ...
  • Place your left vein side up on the paper (essentially, your leaf will be backwards)
  • Place a sheet of white paper over your leaf
  • Using the flat side of a crayon, rub your crayon over the paper to "reveal" the texture of the leaf

So easy, so fun, doesn't cost a penny, and is mess-free!  What more could you ask for?!
