Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Review & *GIVEAWAY* (3 winners)

This is our last Suave Professionals review with Jim (the best hair stylist in Wilkes Barre, PA). I know, I'm super bummed too!!  Don't worry, though, Jim & I have plenty more projects and posts planned for the future! I hope you like seeing his unshaven mug because you'll be looking at it a lot more :).

I have a feeling that today's review of Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo is probably the one you've been hoping and wishing we would do! I've heard so much feedback about the expected awesomeness of this product and now we will put those questions to rest! This dry shampoo spray, with mineral clay, refreshes hair to prevent a greasy feel between washes. The dual benefit formula also helps re-style hair by adding lift and texture.

Bottom line: Jim really liked the product. I gagged on the smell.  This product is not meant to replace your weekly (lol) shower (hint: do not spray it under your arms!), but rather should be used to freshen your hair after a long day or first thing in the morning before you can suds up properly.  I thought that the product worked well to reduce hair grease - especially around the roots - but made it difficult to style the hair afterwards.  So, every time I used it, I pulled my hair into a ponytail.  For me, the big hang-up was the explosion of grapefruit that clung to me for hours after using it! It was extremely overpowering, in my opinion.  I will be honest and admit that I was the ONLY one who did not like the smell.  Jim actually liked it!  Watch the quick video below for Jim's full report. BTW, the gorgeous model in this video is actually Jim's mom - I know!! She does not look old enough to have a child of Jim's ... um ... stature :).

Have you used this product before?  We'd love to know YOUR thoughts regarding it! Be sure to read Jim's other hair product reviews and enter those corresponding giveaways, too:

I actually tried this product today because I had spent about an hour yesterday drying and straightening my hair, so I wanted the results to last as long as possible. It worked okay. I like the smell, but my husband didn't. In total, my hair still looks good, but I'm definitely looking forward to my shower tonight : )

There aren't any tasks that prevent me from getting a shower unless we go camping. Then I have to wait till we get back home.

My son keeps me from showering as often as I would like! It is getting better the older he gets, but I have taken many speed showers since he was born!

I need to get a six year old and a sixteen year old to school in the morning AFTER I workout. More often than not, I only have time for a quick shower - leaving my hair covered with a scarf or cap to hide that fact :S
