... and we're BACK!!!!

We're home, safe & dry!!!!  Praising the Lord for his goodness to our area, and petitioning him on behalf of those who were not as fortunate.  I'm still in disbelief that we dodged such a major disaster.  As I packed up our most precious belongings and moved them to the second floor, I was sure I would come home to a mud-filled and water lodged home.  To be here, in my living room, completely dry with the only burden the task of unpacking is surreal in so many ways.

We're taking this opportunity to purge ourselves of a lot of stuff that we don't use and don't need any longer.  The Lord thought we needed a good house cleaning, so we're listening :).  As I attempt to get my personal life back to normal, I'll also be working to get the blog back to normal!

I hope you've stuck around through our absence the last few days and are just as excited to see me as I am to see you :).  Your prayers, support, and endless encouragement helped lift us up and reminded us of what was truly important through all of this.  I have some of the most amazing readers -- uh, yeah, YOU!!!!  Welcome back!!! * We stayed with my aunt & uncle a few hours away.  They have an indoor pool that was a huge blessing in keeping the girls entertained!!  Of course, I was happy to NOT come home to an indoor pool of my own!
