Electronic Scrabble Flash Game Review & $4 off Coupon

Have you tried the new Scrabble Flash game yet?  Hasbro sent us a copy of this new game to test out and we loved it!  I'll be honest, though - I knew I would :).  I love word games and this one seems to combine a few of my favorites - the classic Scrabble with the new electronic letter scramble games (which I love to play on my iPhone or Facebook).

I love that this game has a few different modes so you can play by yourself or with others, and you can play a few different game options.  Personally, I like having a new set of letters each time and trying to make 5 letter words out of them.  You can also see how many words you can create with the same 5 letters, or knock things up a bit and try these modes with just 4 letters.  You just set the letters next to each other and the tiles know when you've created a word - they also keep score for you!

An added, un-advertised, bonus is that it can help your kids learn their letters!  Bella was fascinated watching me play the game and kept yelling out the letters as they would appear.  As she gets older, I think it would be fun to let her play and see what words she can make.

The only downside is that there aren't as many options for 2 or more players.  I also wish that you could turn the timer off so you could play just for fun (but that's just my non-competitive side coming out).  Making up for these minor issues, the game is ultra-compact and fits into a tiny black box that is easy to store and perfect to take with you anywhere!
