The “new" Facebook has a news feed setting that, by default, is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people who you’ve recently interacted with or have interacted with the most since the new profile switches. So in other words, for both business and personal pages, unless your friends/fans commented on one of your posts within the last few weeks (or vice versa) – you are now invisible to them and they are invisible to you!!
Personally, I don't comment on a lot of pages or profiles, but I like to see what's happening in their lives or what they're posting. So, even though I don't interact a whole lot, I still want them to show up in my news feed. If you're a fan of Savings & Stewardship on Facebook, this is probably true for you! You might not comment a lot, but you definitely don't want to miss a hot deal when it comes across the wire!
HERE’S THE FIX:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the News Feed on your homepage
- Click on “Edit Options”
- Click on “Show Posts From” and change the setting to “All Of Your Friends and Pages”.
Took me less than 3 seconds to do! Be sure you're a member of the Savings & Stewardship community on Facebook - we have an awesome giveaway coming up for JUST our Facebook friends!
Thanks, MoJo Savings!
