Holiday Gift Guide: Reusable Snack & Sandwich Bags GIVEAWAY

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
Congrats to our winner #39: Kellie

I am SO excited to tell you all about an amazing new "must-have" in my household!!  A friend of mine, Stephanie from Sand & Starfish, makes these awesome reusable snack and sandwich bags, amongst other cool things!  She sent me a few to test out (and will be giving some away here) and I LOVE THEM!!  I was a little skeptical at first.  I wasn't sure how they would hold up, if they would be "durable" enough for my kids, and if they would be gross (you know, food and fabric don't mix well), but I honestly can say that I love them!  I can't think of a single thing that I dislike about them or that I would change ... well, I might change the number of them that I own -- and purchase more!!

These little bags are the perfect size for toting around dry snacks for your kids -- my daughters are obsessed with "puffs" and animal crackers, so that's what we take with us EVERYWHERE!  I love that I can toss some goodies in these bags and be gone!  I can keep refilling them without the baggie getting gross and worn, and I can even put a label on the fabric bag (Mabel's, of course) so everyone knows that this snack belongs to my child.

They are sealed with Velcro, which is way better than a zipper or snap, and holds the contents in perfectly, but also allows for gentle hands to get them open easily (which is the purpose).  Plus, when they get dirty, just toss the in the wash & line dry -- instead of throwing them out like plastic baggies.  These little sacks are saving my family a TON of money!  We go through baggies like crazy people and I always groan at the amount of waste we produce from them!

Finally, who doesn't love a groovy pattern?!  Stephanie custom made ours to suit my family's ascetic style, which I love, but I also love that these are specific to just my family -- I'm not going to find 12 other parents with the same snack bags all mixing them up in the church nursery!!  The outside is a sturdy unbleached cotton that is mixed with stylish patterned cotton, and the inside is lined with a different pattern -- LOVE IT!

These items would make PERFECT, unique, and very practical, but fun, gifts and stocking stuffers!  Check out all of the awesome items that Stephanie sells in her Sand & Starfish Etsy shop and be sure to visit her blog, Sand and Starfish, too!!

I have made something similar to these but hers look so much better! I have 3 little boys so any blues, greens, and orange colors would be their favs!

Well, that is a really cool idea. I think I'd have to choose something fairly gender-neutral, like her Autumn Arrival pattern.

I love this idea. If I don't win them I may have to invest in a bit of fabric and make a few for myself! I would want my baggies to be either royal blue or pink and yellow. What a neat idea!
