Seattle’s Best Coffee invites fairgoers, cooks and coffee lovers with creativity to participate in live Red Cup Showdown competitions at five state fairs, or compete in the Facebook competition. Blue ribbon winners from the California, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa state fairs and the Facebook winner will receive $500, free coffee for a year, and will be sent to the Big Apple in late August to battle for the grand prize – $10,000 and the chance to have their coffee drink featured at Seattle’s Best Coffee locations nationwide. Fans can follow the journey by tuning into Facebook episodes of the competitions hosted by Jeff Mauro at each state fair.
The Red Cup Showdown will also offer fairgoers free iced coffee drinks from a lip-licking lineup of Cotton Candy Mochas, Elephant Ear Lattes, Caramel Pretzel Mochas and more at the Seattle’s Best Coffee exhibit on the midway. In addition, fairgoers can pose for a free souvenir digital photo inside a life-sized red mug, take a spin at the prize wheel loaded with thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes, and receive a free sample of Levels ground coffee to brew at home.
