Best Deals & Tips for Ordering Mother's Day Flowers

Looking to order flowers for Mom this Mother's Day?  If you're like me, it is always difficult to decide which company to go with when ordering flowers.  In my own personal attempt to find the best deal & value for my money, I came across this Consumer Reports article in the May 2011 issue that gives some great advice, and lists the top 3 companies to order from -

In our small study, 1800Flowers.com was best at sending what was ordered, followed by ProFlowers.com and FTD.com. The flowers most likely to look the way they did on websites were tulips, roses, and orchids. Mixed bouquets had more substitutions than the rest. If you want to make sure your flowers prompt a smile, pick a color scheme that matches your Mom's favorites, then steer away from mixed bouquets.
