I just wanted to take a moment to wish my wonderful husband a very 

Happy 7th Year Wedding Anniversary!  

In one sense, I cannot believe that much time has gone by, but in the other sense, I cannot believe that there was ever a time in my life when I did not know (and love) Chris.  Some say that there is a "seven year itch", and I must admit, I'm scratching ... but not in the sense that people mean ... I'm itching to fall more in love with him!!  The pastor who married us, Joe Novenson, said that as time went by, he and his wife actually fell MORE in love with each other.  I remember thinking, "Wow, that's so great for you - how rare!"  Now, seven years later, I get what he meant.  

I know Chris better, he knows me better.  I am comfortable with him in ways that I never imaged I could be - and he with me.  We have two beautiful little girls together, and I have watched him bloom into an extraordinary dad!!  There is so much MORE to love about Chris now than there was seven years ago. As that passionate lust for one another has faded, an intense romance has intertwined in its place.  And the dependency that we feel for one another - in that the other half could not survive if it were not a whole - has been so wonderful and so freeing!

So, on this special day, I am honored to tell you all that I love Chris more today than I have ever loved him before - and it is not just because he bought me a beautiful necklace :) (though jewelry never hurts).  I love him for all that he does to support and stabilize this family, for the husband and father he has become, and strives to be each day, and for his constant devotion to me - even during my worst!
