So, I'm currently in the process of designing my business cards for BlogHer,
but I want some help from all of you (see how boring my current card is?)!!
My amazing BlogHer sponsor, Storkie, has agreed to print the cards,
since they are an online printing company, and have said "the sky is the limit",
though I have a feeling I'm about to test how high their sky goes :).
I really want something that will stand out - not just for my own purposes,
but to really showcase what they do as a printing company -
so, here's where you come in ... IDEAS, IDEAS, IDEAS!!
What are some of the coolest, most memorable business cards you've seen?
What sort of custom shape, graphic, embellishments, etc,
do you think would be "perfect" for this blog?
Tell me what you think would make my business card AMAZING!!
* A special thanks to Ann from Coupons, Deals, & More for her awesome ideas
and all of her help with my BlogHer (and blogging) ignorance :).

As far as shapes - I think something like a flower - the shape of a lily or sunflower would be unique. As far as colors, a plum or burgundy with silver embossed writing? Too much? Will keep thinking.

going with the sunflower idea for shape - how about yellow or a marigold for the color with dark green embossed writing?

embossing really makes biz cards stand out. also, transparent vellum paper
Okay - I'm sure we're all tired of me - but I have one more. What about the shape of a sunshine in a yellow or orange with dark red embossed writing. With all of these suggestions, I was thinking of a card stock textured paper.

Put something useful on the card that will make them want to keep and use your card. I will tell you my secret...shhhh, just kidding! No really, we have a double/ triple coupon calculator on the back of our business card. Kind of like a tip calculator but for coupon doubling!
Renae's coupon calculator was REALLY talked about at Blissdom. It was unique, different and memorable. That's what we should all strive for!
Good luck finding just the right card Alecia.
You could add inspirational quotes or scripture to the card as well - something that reflects you and your passions. Something that would be useful and meaningful to others.
Since your blog is about saving money, could they make your business card into an envelope shape, like gift card envelope, where the open end has a half moon cutout (cutout really isn't the right word....you know, a curve in it so you can remove the gift card). Now why an envelope you may ask? Hey they need someplace to store the money you're going to save them..
