April had a great group of questions on Do you know my first name?, but they are a few random questions (which I LOVE), so I’m going to break them up and answer them individually …

* I don’t have anything specific I would like to know (just lots of random things), but I have only seen pictures of you and your daughter (not sure if your other child is a boy or girl). Have you had pix of your hubby and both children on the blog? 

We are a family of four – me (Alecia), Chris (the Husband), Bella (2 1/2 yrs), and Gigi (7 months) … she’s a girl .  Yes, I have posted pictures of Chris and the girls on the blog.  Here is one picture of Chris (handsome, eh?), and here are a bunch of pictures of the girls – scroll down to see them all.  I try to publish a new picture of our family each Sunday as part of our Saving Sundays Series!  Here is a family photo, for you – it was our Christmas Card 2009 Photo, so Gigi and Bella are much bigger now!

* Do you have any pets? 

We currently do not have any pets.  We had two dogs, but our youngest daughter started to have some respiratory issues and so we gave them up for adoption.

* What area of the country do you live? 

We live in Northeastern PA – moved here from GA a few years ago.  While we love living in the North and have been enjoying the milder summers and white winters, we are hoping to get back South again someday.

* How long have you been married? Where did you meet? 

We have been married for almost 7 years!!  Wow, that sounds so long.  We got married after our sophomore year of college, at Covenant College, had Bella four years later, Gigi last Oct, and then here we are!  We met in Chatt, TN (Covenant is on the GA/TN border) … it is a long, embarrassing story, but let’s suffice it to say that we like to dance!!

* What’s your favorite meal, food, place to visit, holiday….. I can go on for days! Can you tell asking questions is part of my job?

Hm, food is always a difficult question for me because I LOVE IT ALL!!  I love authentic, homemade Italian food – my dad’s side of the family is Italian.  I love refined dishes and “pub dishes” alike – give me a basket of good wings and a wet nap any day!  I really love the Fall season.  I love fall flavors and dishes – hearty stews, roasts, etc. Mmm.

I love to travel!  I’m more an historic sort of vacationer, as opposed to the beach kind of vacationer.  Chris and I both love to visit places with meaning or a history – lots of museums, monuments, etc.  We went to Paris a few years ago and that was awesome!  We live about 2 hrs from NYC and love to visit the city.

My favorite holiday … I love them all … would probably have to be Christmas!  I’m a sucker for the decorations, the festivities, the traditions, and yes, the presents!!  I love the spirit of the Christmas holiday – family, friends, the whole world seems to be in a good mood (for the most part).

Yes, I can tell that you ask questions for a living .  You’re very good at it!
