As summer begins to wind down and many of your older children head back to school, here’s a great new game from Hasbro that will provide tons of fun for your younger ones!
It’s a bouncin’, snackin’ barrel of fun with the Elefun Snackin’ Safari game! This game is sure to have little ones up and out of their seats as they race around the room trying to pick up silly snacks using Elefun’s trunk. With three different ways to play, there’s always a new safari adventure to be had. By using Elefun’s trunk to snag each snack, players win by being the first to find Eelfun’s Golden Tutti Fruitti snack, collecting all of their matching colors, or collecting the most pairs of matching snacks.
Setup is easy – just grab your elephant with his attached springy trunk, drop the cards face-down around the room, and get snackin’! Each game comes with 2 elephant heads with attached handles and springy trunks. Each trunk has a sensitive suction device to make it easy for little ones to grab the cards. When they’re done, press on the trunk to lock the spring in place for storage. And when you’re ready to play, just stretch out the trunk to unlock the spring again.
Game includes 2 Snackin’ Safari elephant heads, 2 handles, 2 elephant trunks, 13 Snack Cards and 2 Home Base Cards.

Both of my girls had tons of fun playing this new game! I was a little worried that Gigi, who is not quite 3 yet, wouldn’t be coordinated enough to pick up the cards with her springy trunk, but she was actually better than Bella! They both had a great time playing a few different ways and then the most fun just picking up the cards without any competition involved! My only big criticisms of this game are -
- I wish more than just 2 players could play, but you could easily buy another set and combine them!
- A better storage box would be nice. The cardboard box it came in doesn’t quite hold everything well. The cards are scattered around and the trunk pieces wobble and bump into each other. I would love to see more a game case where you could better store the game parts.
