My family always has a big Easter dinner on Saturday. Followed by Easter baskets and an egg hunt for my boys. I love it!
We like having an Easter Egg hunt
We go to the town-wide easter egg hunt, then usually use the eggs they get to have another hunt at home
The most fun we have each year is to go to one of the public Easter Egg hunts. A zillion of kids with baskets, backpacks, plastic bags, you name it. They bring it all to such a hunt! Love this time with my kids!

My families’ favorite Easter tradition is to attend church to celebrate how God sent his son to die on the cross of our sins. That is the reason for celebrating Easter. We also enjoy coloring eggs, hiding them and then finding them. We also hide the Ester baskets. Which is always so much fun watching the children look for them.

We make resurrection rolls Easter morning. I enjoy telling the story of Christ while the boys are helping make them, and the boys love eating the sweet crescent rolls! I saw a blog post for resurrection cookies this year, and we are going to try them this week.
We like to hide and hunt Easter eggs with my son and my nephews.
I love the Easter Egg hunt for the little ones and dinner for the big ones.
We always go to friends house for Easter and it is a very nice tradition. We also have a very big egg hung which the kids love

Our favorite traditions are going to church to worship our risen King and then going over to my in laws house for an Easter lunch and egg hunt with our kids and their cousins. My FIL also does an Easter egg hunt for the adults where he puts money ($1 to $100 bills) in eggs and hides them in ridiculously difficult places. It’s a lot of fun and gets quite competetive.
We love going to church, and then coming home and having an Easter Egg hunt for the little kids and we all the kids go to my parents house and have ham dinner. So fun to see all the little nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
It’s a struggle for me to come up with meaningful Easter traditions that don’t obscure the real meaning of Easter. I’m still working on it.
But my MIL always does an Easter egg hunt for the kids that they look forward to for weeks.
Our favorite Easter tradition is the family dinner. It is great to get the cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandparents all under the same roof!
