Don't get sold out tonight if you're headed to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides!!! I saw it last week & loved it! I thought the plot was well portrayed and put a new spin on old myths. I know it is based on the book On Stranger Tides
by Tim Powers - and it makes me want to read the book now! I enjoyed how they branched out from the previous characters and expounded more on Captain Jack, and added a few new faces (like Penelope Cruz - who was great). Of course, the special effects were awesome! I saw it in 3D and was not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed being transported from my normal (maybe boring) life for a few hours and plunged into the life of a Pirate once again!
