I was so excited when I opened my Kmart ad and saw that the Kmart Doubles event this week was NOT for just P&G coupons (at least not in my area), but for ANY coupon up to $2. Sadly, they were still limiting 5 coupons per customer, per day, and I still had to make a $25 purchase (prior to coupons), but we managed to still walk away with some awesome deals! Chris and I each did a transaction:
- Transaction 1:
$1/1 Colgate coupon from the 2/27 SmartSource insert
$0.50 after double coupon
Dentek Floss Picks (90 ct) - $2
$1/1 Dentek coupon from the 1/16 SmartSource insert
Free after double coupon
Dove Ultimate Deodorant - $4.29
$2/1 Dove coupon from the 1/30 RedPlum insert
$0.29 after double coupon
Ludens Cough Drops (30 ct) - $1.99
$1/2 coupon from the 12/12 SmartSource insert
Free after double coupon
(this was my error & the cash register did not pick it up - I didn't realize until doing the matchups that the coupon was supposed to be off of 2 and I only bought 1, but the coupon was still accepted and doubled)
Reeses Pieces Pouch - $2.50
York Pieces Pouch - $2.50
$2/2 Hershey's coupon from the 1/30 SmartSource insert
$0.50 each after double coupon
Huggies Wipes Refill (192 ct) - $6.99
Free Huggies Wipes coupon from complaint
Free after coupon
Zone Perfect Bar - $1.59
Free coupon from Facebook promotion (no longer available)
Free after coupon
SoBe (20 oz) - $1
Free 20oz SoBe coupon from Instant Win Game (no longer available)
Free after coupon
Subtotal: $25.36
Coupons: $23.58
Total Out of Pocket: $1.99 + received $3 off $30 purchase coupon
Savings: 93%
- Transaction 2:
(4) $2/1 coupons from the 1/30 P&G insert & P&G coupon booklet from Charmin pkg
$0.69 each after double coupons
Gillette ProSeries Men's Face Wash - $5.99
$2/1 coupon from the 2/27 P&G insert
$1.99 after double coupon
Pampers Easy Ups - $18.99
$2/1 coupon from Pampers Mailer
$16.99 after coupon
Subtotal: $43.74
Coupons: $22.00
Kmart Coupon (from Transaction 1): $3.00
Total Out of Pocket: $19.64 + received $10 off $10 purchase coupon (for purchasing $35 P&G products)
Savings: 57%
Note: I try to save my "freebie" coupons for as long as I can - just in case they might come in use for an occasion like this! As you can see, I used a few of them to help me get to the $25 minimum in the first transaction.

great job! I have yet to go, hopefully later on this week. I need some Pampers diapers for my new baby coming soon!
Nice trips! I wish our Kmart was closer!
At our Kmart they said I had to have a 25.00 food purchase prior to coupons that diapers and ect didn't count. :(
Our Kmart required a $25 purchase from Grocery and Drug Store items ... everything I bought counted towards those categories, thankfully :)
Great job!!! :)
