Last year, my mom passed along an email that contained a photo of cookies someone had made and decorated as scandalous underwear. It was meant to inspire a laugh and then be deleted, but my creative mind immediately said “I could make those.” So, last year for Valentine’s Day I spent a little time in the kitchen with some basic decorating tools and surprised my husband with my version of “Naughty Cookies.” The reaction was well worth the work!
This year, I thought I’d share a photo of a few of my cookies in case you felt so inspired to make some of your own! I used a medium sized heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut the tips off the hearts after they were baked, and decorated them to look like bikini tops & bottoms. It was really easy and so much fun!!!
I made an extra-large batch of the heart cookies and decorated some of the hearts with the girls, too. So, it was a double cookie project that was a hit both ways! I hope this Valentine’s Day you’re inspired to spice things up a bit!
