One of our family's favorite things about summer is to have picnics - at the park, in the backyard, as play-dates, etc! I'm not entirely sure why, but there is just something so much more fun about eating food outside :).
One of our favorite spots to have a picnic is at our local park. There is a play set for the kids, but also tons of open space so we often take a ball and just let the girls run around like wild people ... which they are quite good at!
Some of our favorite foods for picnics are usually finger foods, but ones that we can get messy eating!! Nestle Drumstick Lil' Drums Sundae Cones are the perfect dessert for such occasions!! We toss them into our freezable lunch cooler and are good to go! The girls think it is the best thing ever to get to eat mini ice cream cones!!
